Role Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled Chinese Language Analysts to join our clients'team in Pensacola. This position requires top-tier professionals with expertise in Mandarintranslation, language analysis, and cultural expertise. Candidates must hold a TS/SCI clearanceand be passionate about advancing intelligence operations.
Responsibilities:
Translation and Interpretation:
Translate and interpret Mandarin Chinese communications for intelligence
Purposes.
Ensure accuracy and context in translations to provide valuable intelligence
Insights.
Language Analysis:
Analyze language data to identify key information and provide insights.
Utilize language analysis software and tools to enhance analysis efficiency.
Cultural Expertise:
Provide cultural context to enhance understanding of the language data.
Offer in-depth cultural insights to support intelligence analysis and target
Development.
Collaboration:
Work with intelligence analysts to integrate language analysis into broader
Intelligence operations.
Facilitate information sharing and coordination among multiple intelligence
Entities.
Target Development:
Contribute to target development processes, identifying and analyzing potentialtargets.
Participate in SIGDEV (Signals Development) and network discovery activities tosupport intelligence gathering.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in language analysis, specifically within theDepartment of Defense (DoD) and US Navy.
Mandarin Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) score of 2+/2+ or better.
Understanding of IP addressing, routing/switching, and other computer networkingconcepts is preferred.
Knowledge of operating systems, virtualization, and other computer architectureconcepts is preferred.
Understanding of target development, SIGDEV, and network discovery tradecraft ispreferred.
Preferred Skills:
Language Certification:
Certification in translation or interpretation.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with language analysis software and tools.
Cybersecurity Knowledge:
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices as they relate tolanguage analysis.
Cultural Analysis:
Ability to provide in-depth cultural insights to support intelligence analysis.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing detailed reportsand presenting findings to stakeholders.
Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other analystsand intelligence professionals.
Location:
This position is based in Pensacola. On-site presence is required, and remote work isnot an option.
Salary Range:
Master Level:
$130,000 - $160,000
Senior Level:
$100,000 - $130,000
