Job Description:
They seek a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a dynamic team. The CFO will oversee the company's financial operations and drive strategic financial planning to support its growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, with specific expertise in securitization, specialty finance, and alternative investments.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial functions of the company, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, and risk management.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's short-term and long-term goals.
Lead the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company's financial stability and optimize investment opportunities.
Provide strategic guidance on capital allocation, investment decisions, and financial risk management.
Collaborate with executive team members to drive operational efficiency and maximize profitability.
Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory developments in specialty finance and alternative investments.
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and an MBA or CPA are strongly preferred.
5-10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, focusing on financial management and analysis.
Demonstrated experience in securitization, including structuring and executing securitization transactions.
Strong knowledge of specialty finance and alternative investments, with a track record of successful investment strategies.
Has proven leadership skills with at least 5 years of experience in a managerial or executive role.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
A strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate future trends and proactively identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
