Chemical Process Engineer

Storm Search is supporting a client with a direct hire, Process Engineer opportunity in Walton Hills, OH.

Job Responsibilities:
* Improve manufacturing processes, yields, cost efficiency, equipment reliability, waste minimization, and EH&
S through data-based decisions.
* Support manufacturing teams by analyzing production runs, investigating root causes, and developing corrective actions.
* Enhance product quality and adherence to standards through continuous process improvements.
* Collaborate with on-site teams for technical process improvements, involving manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, EH&
S, and quality.
* Troubleshoot customer concerns and process deviations for new and existing products.
* Liaison for integrating new product development into manufacturing.
* Conduct process evaluations, capability studies, HAZOP studies, safety reviews, toll manufacturing evaluations, and DOEs.
* Prepare capital fund requests for process improvements and new installations.
* Ensure EH&
S compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
* Backup Production Unit Manager in reporting, decision-making, and team direction during absences.
* Ensure conformance with Quality and EH&
S policies, ISO 9001, and RC14001 requirements.
* Manage MOCs, RCCA for ESHCARs, and ISOCARs.
Qualifications:
* High commitment to safety
* Bachelor's in chemical engineering or equivalent
* 3-5 years process engineering experience, preferably in a chemical plant
* Preferred lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
* Strong communication skills
