Certified Surgical Tech

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Tech (CST) to join our team. As a CST at NCG Associates, you will play a critical role in assisting surgeons during surgical procedures and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
Responsibilities
Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures
Handle and pass surgical instruments and supplies to the surgeon
Monitor and maintain a sterile field during surgery
Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
Safely dispose of contaminated sharps and other potentially infectious materials
Clean and restock operating rooms after surgeries
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and efficient patient care
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
Valid and unrestricted Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Tech
Strong knowledge of surgical technology principles and practices
Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

If the event of a vacation falls on a scheduled workday, subsequent pay periods will be reduced by vacation pay hours.
Floating Requirements:
Will float to all ORs
Experience Required:
Strong ENT, Neuro and Surgical Oncology (general surgery)experience required, Level I exp required
Certificates Required:
NBSTSA or three years surg tech exp and BLS required
