Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Home Health - Part Time Contract
We are seeking a contract Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support a Home Health Care client. You will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. You will work closely with patients and their families to ensure their physical and emotional well-being, while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
* Expectations are to see a patient for 1-hour sessions (3) times per week. More hours will be available by accepting additional patients.
* Part Time Workers will get 3 to 12 hours per week depending on number of patients seen. LOCATION:

Responsibilities:

* Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation.
* Administer medications as prescribed by the healthcare team and assist with medication management.
* Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
* Assist with therapeutic exercises and mobility assistance as outlined in the care plan.
* Perform basic nursing procedures
* Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional support according to dietary requirements.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care activities and observations.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
* Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:

* Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Texas
* Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
* Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
* Good communication both written and verbal
