TheCardiovascular Technologistassists cardiovascular Physicians in performing and completing invasive, interventional, and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in Labs using a variety of complicated/advanced equipment, monitors, devices, and supplies. Knowledgeable in Vascular, Cardiac, and Pediatric Procedural practice as well as emergent techniques/protocol. Assists in Quality Control checks/Quality Improvement Program. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes the "

concept and reflects our medical center's mission and philosophy. Able to observe hospital and departmental policies on confidentiality. CVS patients served range from neonates to senior citizens.
Must Haves:
Must have 3 years direct work experience in Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
H.S. Diploma or GED.
National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire;
or
National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred:
Associate's Degree from an accredited school with supervised clinical experience in invasive Cardiovascular, and/or Interventional Radiological procedures.
Previous Special Procedures/Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist experience.
