The firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join as a Business Immigration Paralegal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business immigration law and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of business immigration matters while providing support to the team of experienced attorneys.
Responsibilities:
Assisting attorneys with preparing and filing various business immigration petitions and applications, including but not limited to H-1B, L-1, TN, E-1/E-2, O-1, and PERM.
Communicating with clients to gather necessary documents and information for case preparation.
Managing a caseload of business immigration matters, ensuring all deadlines are met and cases are handled efficiently.
Conducting legal research and analysis related to business immigration laws and regulations.
Preparing responses to requests for evidence (RFEs) and notices of intent to deny (NOIDs) under attorney supervision.
Maintaining organized and accurate case files, ensuring compliance with firm protocols and confidentiality standards.
Coordinating with clients, government agencies, and third-party vendors as needed.
Providing administrative support to attorneys, including drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
Education/Experience Requirement:
Bachelors degree and a minimum of one (1) years of experience working as a business immigration paralegal.
Proficiency in business immigration processes and procedures, including familiarity with various visa categories and USCIS forms.
Strong understanding of immigration law concepts and terminology.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal case management software preferred.
