Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy Development:
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth objectives.
Market Research:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
Lead Generation:
Identify and pursue new business leads and opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Partnership Development:
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners, clients, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
Sales Pipeline Management:
Manage the sales pipeline by tracking and analyzing key metrics, forecasting revenue, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads.
Proposal Development:
Prepare and present compelling business proposals and presentations to potential clients and partners.
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Performance Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on business development activities and outcomes for senior management. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Customer Relationship Management:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving any issues promptly.
Brand Representation:
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote our brand and network with potential clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
Proven track record of achieving business development targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
