Summary
The ideal candidate has an aptitude for analytics and a desire to pursue sales. Background should include education and/or job experience in sales analytics and advanced excel skills. Familiarity with retail sales analytic software a plus. This company thrives on collaboration, and a good fit to the team would be someone able to simultaneously handle multiple projects at various stages, enjoys finding solutions with data and ability to craft a story with the results, as well as a willingness to help and pitch in at all levels. At times, this person may be involved with direct sales client interactions.
Essential Functions
SALES ANALYSIS AND REPORT CREATION
Generate Quarterly/YOY reports providing insights and trends in our business
Analyze sales reports from SPINSand other databases for regular business reviews, sales meetings, executive presentations, pitch meetings, etc.
Develop PowerPoint presentations in support of ongoing Sales needs
Manage customer/retailer portals for item management and sales reporting
Assist with sales projections:
analyze ordering trends and purchase history by customer
SALES CRM MANAGEMENT
Act as a point-person for ensuring valid, current, and cohesive information is consistently entered and updated in our sales CRM platform
Leverage data and business knowledge to drive improvement and usage of the CRM
Assist the sales team, when needed, withentering information or troubleshooting issues
SALES SUPPORT
Work with the Business Intelligence team to:
Track retail price points and price changes in the market
Track out of stocks and promotions to fully understand supply needs
Assist sales team at customer trade show booths and in-store demonstrations
Provide sales data for broker/customer reviews
Conduct research for special projects
