Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes across various departments within our food manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, business process optimization, and project management, with a keen understanding of the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and other software to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business performance and operations.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other analytical tools using Power BI and Excel to provide stakeholders with actionable insights and KPIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key metrics and performance indicators for tracking and measuring business objectives.
Business Process Improvement:
Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable recommendations for process enhancements.
Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs across the organization.
Project Management:
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects and initiatives aimed at driving business growth and improvement.
Coordinate with project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and priorities.
Track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and propose solutions to keep projects on track and within budget.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics within the food industry.
Monitor competitor activities, product offerings, and market positioning to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for differentiation.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to understand business needs, priorities, and challenges.
Communicate findings, recommendations, and insights effectively through presentations, reports, and other communication channels.
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster collaboration and support the achievement of business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.G., CBAP, PMP) is a plus.
Proven experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, and others.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
Solid understanding of business processes, project management principles, and industry best practices.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
