Overview:
As the Branch President for Gallagher’s Specialty Surety Division, you will play a significant role in the strategic plan objectives to continue to grow Gallagher’s Surety segment. You’ll focus on the success of the business in several areas including Revenue Strategy, Organizational Structure, Sales Management, Client Relations, Market Relations, and People Leadership.

Reporting into the Affinity Area President, you will lead our Specialty Surety Team which consists of a Sales &
Production Team, an Operations Leadership Group, and the Surety Technology Group. There are approximately 55 individuals that make up this team spread across the nation. The successful candidate for this role could be based anywhere in the US, but you will be expected to travel domestically 15% - 35%.

Focusing on people and culture development, making Gallagher a great place to work. This includes:
continuous sourcing and recruitment of top talent;
succession planning forcritical roles;
development of key talent;
performance management of under-performers;
driving engagement;
open and honest communications;
quality and timely PDC reviews, and effective use of compensation to reward performing employees.
Establish and implement annual and three-year business plans. Hold annual strategic planning meetings with the team and regularly review progress, making adjustments as needed.
Drive organic growth by providing leadership, strategy, and vision to operations and sales management.
Develop lead sources for the production team, both traditional and digital, working with business development functions in Small Business, Affinity, Gallagher Benefit Services, and other parts of Gallagher.
Strengthen relationships with the top level decision-maker of carriers in the market, and lead our strategy in developing proprietary products to meet ever-changing market needs.
Working with Technology to ensure the needs of the business unit are met and we’re able to continue to capture market share through client and prospect engagement
Provide leadership to the team in creating operating budgets, managing the P&
Ls to ensure operations are successfully driving growth and profit margin.

About you:
Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience
P&
C Insurance License willbe required - multi-state preferred
