Branch Manager

Eagle Fence Distributing, LLC

Responsible for assisting with the managing of operations and functions within an organization.

Tasks:

  • Oversee the transportation of goods from site to customer
  • Review purchase orders for approval
  • Ensure inventory maintains optimal levels
  • Ensure all DOT regulations and reporting procedures are followed
  • Ensure work force is flexible and can respond to variations in workflow
  • Plan daily operations and manpower/equipment needs and ensure timely plan execution
  • Enforce the safety and security policies, to ensure a safe work environment and limit shrinkage
  • Conduct quality checks and audits of processes;
    recommend and implementchanges to maximize productivity
  • Supervise the proper housekeeping and maintenance of the facility and equipment
  • Coaching, counsel and discipline associates to hold them accountable for their performance
  • Troubleshoot with internal cross functional teams to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and develop relationships with new customers
  • Cold calling will be required
  • Oversee daily loading and yard schedule
  • Schedule staffing to meet the changing daily business needs
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture through communication and coaching employees as well as finding opportunities for streamlining production activities and enhancing value-added processes
  • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education:

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Experience with a similar workforce is preferred
  • A bachelor's degree and/or related experience or training;
    or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Employee occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. The indoor environment is not climate controlled. While performing the duties of the job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee operates mobile equipment, operates cranes or hoists and is exposed to hot materials.
  • The noise level in the work environment is loud and employee is exposed to dust.
