Your Impact
Iroquois Manufacturing Company is seeking a bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including, sales, receipts, payments and payroll. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be a team player and have a can-do approach. The bookkeeper will report directly to the Business Manager and will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial information. This position is onsite in Hinesburg, Vermont with working hours of 8:

Your Role
Process all Accounts Receivable
Reconcile daily invoice registers
Daily credit card revenue:
book and tie to income received to bank on daily basis.
Reconcile bank statement monthly
Post journal entries for month end close
Payroll processing weekly with outside payroll company (Asure Software). Post journal entries weekly.
Maintain various excel spreadsheets
Accounts Payable knowledge
Answer Phones as needed
Required Experience
Associate’s degree or higher in accounting is desirable, previous work experience considered
Prior experience working in payroll highly preferred
High attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills, knowledge of business ethics and communication methods to prioritize tasks and responsibilities and meet deadlines
