EMI Services is hiring a Boiler Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on one or more boilers to produce high-temperature water for use in an establishment.
Salary
Starting at $35.00 to $50.00/ hr. (DOE) plus $4.57 fringe benefits used towards insurance and 401k!

Responsibilities
Observes and interprets readings on gauges, meters, and charts which register various aspects of boiler operation
Adjusts controls to ensure safe and efficient boiler operation and to meet demands for high-temperature water
Maintain a log in which various aspects of boiler operation are recorded
Clean, oil, make minor repairs or assist in repair to boiler equipment
Must be able to calibrate, operate, and interpret readings from a combustion analyzer to ensure efficient operation of boilers
Prepares work orders and cost materials estimates
Operate equipment used in the installation, repair, and maintenance on HVAC equipment
May assist in training lower-level workers in mechanical repair techniques
PRACTICE WORKPLACE SAFETY in the use of tools, equipment, and supplies used in repair of HVAC equipment
Including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE
Performs other related duties, as assigned
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED
5+ years of experience in the maintenance, repair, installation, and operation of heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems
Experience must include inspection, disassembly, assembly, replacement, and repair of heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and/or air conditioning systems to include compressors, motors, burners, pumps, filters, ductwork, pipes, valves, refrigerants, and their recovery systems and pressure vessels.
Experience in installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and replacement of control systems

Regular, dependable attendance
U.S citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
Use of hands, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and walking
Prolonged periods of sitting, bending, squatting, standing, twisting, or stooping
Climbing ladders and entering confined spaces
Work both indoors and outdoors in various temperatures (some extreme) and weather conditions
