Responsibilities:
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for training staff / key social agents around individual support plans;
conducting observational and procedural reliability checks, and evaluating consumer progress around the delivery of specific support strategies. The BCBA is also responsible for the completion of Functional Assessments and Recommended Support Plans and Progress Reports as assigned.
This position is required to go cover our Imperial Valley and San Diego regions. Travel accommodations and mileage will be covered according to company policy.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or other human services field, current BCBA certification, five + years’ experience conducting behavioral assessments and designing behavior support plans for children and adults with developmental disabilities, mental illness, or traumatic brain injury.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Proof of valid driver's license, copy of auto insurance liability coverage, and clear DMV report
Proof of current BCBA certification
Operational vehicle
Proof of current CPR and First Aid training certifications or completion within 30-days of hire
Clearance with the Department of Justice by completing a fingerprint background check
TB Test and clearance
Physical Activity Requirements:
Ability to physically lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds (e.G., groceries, housewares, or move furniture)
Ability to physically assist, guide, and facilitate movement of clients that may need physical assistance (e.G., wheelchair transfer, walking, etc.)
Ability to implement strategies as defined in IABA’s Emergency Management Guidelines, including geographical and emergency physical containment
