Key Responsibilities:
Offer compassionate direct care services, ensuring the well-being, safety, and emotional health of each child.
Supervise, guide, and mentor a team of Bilingual Youth Care Workers, fostering a collaborative and empowering environment.
Oversee daily routines and activities of the team, ensuring a structured, nurturing, and effective care setting.
Act as an advocate for the children and ensure the team does the same, representing their needs, concerns, and aspirations.
Facilitate training sessions, knowledge-sharing, and skill development workshops for your team members.
Coordinate with the Child Experience Manager and other leads for consistent and top-tier service delivery.
Handle escalated situations or conflicts, offering solutions and guidance.
Provide regular feedback and evaluations to team members, helping them grow in their roles.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of post-high school experience working directly with youth, preferably in care or educational settings.
Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in guiding or mentoring teams.
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to working with children.
Ability to handle challenging situations with tact, patience, and diplomacy.
Knowledge of child development and trauma-informed care is an added advantage.
