Bench Carpenter

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented carpenter or cabinet maker looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience building attractive displays or museum-quality props? Are you ready to work with creative teammates in a clean and well-appointed studio environment?
As a Bench Carpenter with Aardvark Studios…
You will work closely with Design Engineers, Project Management, and Design teams to create top-quality assets that will be used in experiential marketing, exhibitions, or installations for our clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
What makes you the ideal candidate:
5+ years of experience working at a company (not freelance) in cabinet-making and/or building exhibits and displays
Solid surface and post-laminating experience are preferred
Knowledge of carpentry hand tools and machinery
Ability to read and interpret complex shop drawings.
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, action-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work overtime on Fridays and weekends as needed.
Experience working with a wide variety of materials.
Creative problem-solving abilities.
A strong moral compass and willingness to do what it takes to exceed client expectations
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work productively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building
What else is helpful:
Familiarity with modern fabrication tools and equipment is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
