Summary
The Battery Test Technician will perform tasks such as conditioning and testing Amprius Technologies’ proprietary silicon anode Li-Ion cells. This position reports to the Product Test Supervisor. This is a TEMP role eligible to be converted to regular employment.
Job Duties
Use small equipment such as a pneumatic cutter and electric drill
Operate large equipment such as degas machine and formation machine
Measure cells with a mass scale, digital multi-meter, and caliper
Visually evaluate defects from a list of standard defects
Input data into quality management software
Load cells into test fixtures, set up and execute electrical cell tests.
Prepare cells for shipment
Requirements
Understand basic electrical connections and testing software
Proficient with hand tools and production equipment
Follow standard work instructions and recommend improvements
Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately
Responsible for the quality of tasks performed
Keep work area clean and well organized
Experience with PCB soldering is desirable
Experience and Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year of experience as an equipment operator or technician in one of the following industries:
Semiconductor, solar, battery, electronics, or automotive.

Fremont, CA:
This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.
Adhere to company’s quality and safety requirements.
Be able to lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds.
May be required to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, lift, balance, push, and pull.
Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, respirator and safety shoes.
Work Schedule:
12-hour shift. Shift timings from 5:
30 am to 6:
00 pm
Alternate Workweek Schedule:
3-days x 12-hour / 4-days x 12-hour every other week.

$22.00 - $26.00 (DOE)
