Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain systems and services that automate the ingestion, storage, and retrieval of our healthcare price transparency dataset. These systems are fundamental to our comprehensive data portfolio.
Prototype user experiences and APIs for our products, collaborating with our team to transition prototypes into robust customer-facing features.
Contribute to defining the product engineering roadmap and architecture for our company, while also documenting processes to support our growth.
Stay updated on advancements in healthcare technology to inform our product development strategy.
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software product development role.
Proficiency in Go (or another compiled/typed language) along with experience with Postgres and Git.
Knowledge of the Amazon AWS stack (EKS, EC2/ECS, RDS, S3, etc) and cloud-based infrastructure monitoring tools like Datadog.
Understanding of container execution environments such as Docker and Kubernetes in cloud infrastructure.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and thrive in a dynamic team environment.
Passion for improving affordability and transparency in the US healthcare market.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):
Familiarity with Node.Js primitives (streams, emitters, async).
Experience working with healthcare billing, coding, pricing, medical claims, or explanation of benefits data.
Proficiency in handling massive datasets and building high-performance systems at scale (data sizes 1TB+, 200BB rows/mo).
Previous experience in roles involving direct interaction with customers.
