Automation Technician

Job Description
Support the installation of new robotic work cells, this includes training technical support team on operation, troubleshooting, assign preventative maintenance etc.
Ensure poke yoke devices including vision systems are operating as intended and train team to grow overall plant error proofing objectives.
Support the transition of manual assembly to an automated approach by working and implementing projects in alignment with the project management team.
Analyze and interpret electrical schematics to the component level as required to make repairs and return equipment to operation.
Support the implementation of digitization on equipment to support adaptation to a new MES/SCADA infrastructure throughout the facility.
Develop, write, and de-bug vision systems for machine control, make design modifications and improvements to complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
Ensure that copies of software are up-to- date and available to the maintenance team members and that sufficient back-up copies are maintained in a safe location.
