Audit Manager - Government

Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their team for a government audit position. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements and ensuring compliance with government regulations and internal controls. You will work closely with a team of auditors to assess financial statements, evaluate internal processes, identify areas of risk, and make recommendations for improvement.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute audit engagements for government entities
Review financial statements and evaluate internal controls
Identify areas of risk and make recommendations for improvement
Supervise and mentor audit staff
Maintain effective client relationships and ensure client satisfaction
Stay up-to-date with government regulations and auditing standards
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably in a government audit setting/public accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Strong knowledge of government accounting principles and regulations
Experience with auditing software and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Attention to detail and analytical thinking
