NB Animal Urgent Care is seeking 1-2 doctors to join our team! The position is available to those with 1+ years DVM experience in a veterinary hospital. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of animal care, including surgery and emergency conditions, and will enjoy working in a fast-paced hospital environment. The schedule is flexible and able to accommodate full time or part time hours. 8-10 hour shifts Monday through Saturday available, closed major holidays.
Requirements
Apply basic knowledge of animal health and medical procedures to treat sick animals.
Perform routine medical treatments for pets.
Perform basic emergency procedures and surgeries.
CPR and stabilization for pets
Triage animals upon arrival to clinic when needed
Detailed medical record keeping of all services and communication with clients
Aide in infectious disease control
Client education
Share in team training when needed
Attend Doctor and Team meetings
