Fox Veterinary Hospital is seeking a skilled and passionate Veterinarian to join our team, with the exciting opportunity for ownership We offer a competitive annual salary, with experience, up to $130,000, with the opportunity for an annual bonus to be negotiated upon contract. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, fostering a supportive and rewarding work environment for our team members.
Medical Benefits:
We offer medical benefits with 90% of the premium covered by the employer for employee-only coverage;
100% in-network coverage, subject to copay and deductibles. Moreover, we contribute $2000 towards the $3000 deductible of the medical insurance.
Life Insurance:
Our veterinarians benefit from life insurance coverage for added security.
Dental and Vision:
Employees have access to dental and vision insurance, with the employee covering 100% of the premium.
SEP IRA:
Though we do not provide a match, we offer 15% of the employee's salary, even without employee contributions.
Vacation:
After 6 months of work, 1 week of paid vacation up to 1st year. Prorated.
After one year of employment, the clinic offers two weeks of vacation.
After further tenure, three weeks of vacation.
Sick Time:
Veterinarians enjoy 4 days of paid sick time.
Personal Days:
We offer 2 paid personal days to cater to individual needs.
Paid Holidays:
Our veterinarians are entitled to 7 paid holidays.
Continuing Education:
Veterinarians can take up to 3 days for continued education training or credits. There will be additional days offered after further tenure.
Professional Dues and Licensure:
We cover all dues, licensure, and DEA fees for our veterinarians.
Mentorship:
Newly hired veterinarians will benefit from mentorship provided by experienced doctors within our team.
Emergency or After-Hours Care:
Although rare, our veterinarians may need to address emergency or after-hours situations. In such cases, we usually refer to an emergency hospital.
Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
Valid state veterinary license
Open to experienced and new graduate veterinarians
Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
Excellent communication skills with clients and team members
Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively
Proficiency in common veterinary software and digital record-keeping
Compassionate approach to animal care
Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
Physical ability to lift and handle animals of various sizes
Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on veterinary advancements
