We are seeking a Full-Time Associate Director with a digital advertising background. In this position, you will work closely with 1. clients to identify their needs or challenges and 2. our internal teams to recommend and execute marketing and communications strategies across paid and owned media (social media, website content, etc.). This role will have a particular focus on electoral, corporate, and public affairs clients.
The ideal candidate has equal passion for supporting insights-driven advertising campaigns, developing creative that stands out from the noise, and working in a fast-paced team environment. Candidates who have experience with electoral politics and policy-focused campaigns will be prioritized. While their background should be largely in digital and paid media, they should understand the broader communications landscape and work closely on integrated solutions. This person is a hands-on, strategic leader responsible for partnering with executive-level clients and internal team members. They should both manage and produce high-quality work. The ideal candidate will have the drive to manage and encourage a team, coupled with an ability to engender trust and confidence with clients.
The Impact You Will Make:
Client and Account Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients;
track and solve client issues.
Find meaningful opportunities for clients and lead the development of a campaign strategy and orchestrate its implementation.
Produce and oversee high-quality client work. The ideal candidate will be just as comfortable drafting a memo or deck outlining high-level and long-term strategic planning suggestions as they are writing a paid media brief or reviewing a campaign report.
Deliver formal and informal presentations to clients and internal team members.
Maintain strong, active relationships with key client partners at both senior and mid-management levels.
Manage campaigns and projects with attention to detail without losing sight of broader strategic goals
Team Management and Communication
Act as a mentor and leader for team members.
Be poised in complex project environments, working with long-range and short-term business objectives and managing multiple partners.
Develop relationships across agency specialty teams and other account teams. Focus on collaboration and providing integrated solutions to clients.
New Business
Working closely with agency partners and other senior leaders to develop and pitch new business opportunities.
Draft and produce proposals and pitch decks.
What You Bring:
5 years + advertising, social media, communications, or marketing experience, preferably in a communications or creative agency or corporate communications setting
Exceptional presentation, writing and analytical skills and the ability to write under tight timelines
Proven project management experience, including overseeing a team managing deliverables for multiple clients
Experience working on electoral campaigns or for electoral organizations and policy or legislative campaigns.
Experience overseeing creative campaign production including strategy and concept development, creative asset production including video, digital and traditional formats.
Excels in fast-paced work environments and juggling multiple projects with tight deadlines
Outstanding collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and with little directions
Superior written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
Exceptional analytical, decision making and time-management skills

BPI offers a comprehensive total compensation package for this role:
$90,000k - $110,000k base salary with an annual discretionary bonus + generous benefits. The estimated starting base salary will be based on experience level.
