Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is looking for a 3-5 year Associate Attorney for a Civil Litigation position. Ideal candidates will have a strong litigation background including trial experience in a first or second chair capacity in personal injury and have a desire to join a Litigation Practice.Qualified candidates must be highly organized, possess attention to detail, excellent writing skills and advocates for clients aggressively.
Requirements
Draft pleadings
Draft motions
Handle all discovery, trial preparation, mediation
Take and defend depositions
Work with experts
Legal research
Qualifications of the Litigation position:
Motivated with the desire to achieve top level results
The ability to work well with a team as well as work well independently
Required Experience of the Plaintiff Personal Injury position:
Must have a minimum of 2 plus years’ of solid experience in litigation in State Courts
