Job Description
Assistant Project Managers conduct due diligence assessmentsand subsurface investigation and environmental remediation tasks and regularly assist more senior colleagues with management tasks including proposal preparation and project management.
Conduct Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and Property Condition Assessments (PCA), New Jersey Preliminary Assessments (PA), commercial energy usage assessments, subsurface investigations, remediation work, and/or other project assignments as appropriate.
Write detailed ESA, PCA, energy audits and/or other technical assessment reports including the preparation of accurate data/summary tables and/or figures.
Assist senior managers in the coordination of work activities for multiple project functions to ensure satisfying delivery.
Assist senior managers in the meeting milestones, budgetary limits, deadlines, or other performance indicators.
Assist in the selection and/or management of project staff members and subcontractors.
Make employee safety a priority both in-house and on-site, in accordance with corporate policy.
Prepare and implement Health and Safety Plans/Job Safety Analyses for sites.
Meet utilization and other performance metrics as assigned by supervisor.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
