We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager for one of our convenience stores. As the Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring that customers are provided with exceptional service and that the store is running smoothly. This is a key role that requires strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as a solid understanding of retail operations.
Responsibilities
Assist the Store Manager in managing and supervising store employees
Help in hiring, training, and evaluating the performance of employees
Ensure that the store is properly stocked and merchandise is displayed attractively
Promote products and services to customers and upsell when appropriate
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
Support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and profitability targets
Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
Requirements
Previous experience in a retail or convenience store environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Basic knowledge of inventory management and retail operations
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
