Job Description
AECOM'sCultural Services group, which is a part of our Environment team is seeking an Architectural Historian(Historian III)to join our Cincinnati, OH office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Conducts historic built-environment investigations and inventories in support of Section 106 compliance projects.
Defines appropriate Area of Potential Effects for consideration of project effects to built-environment resources.
Appropriately documents and inventories identified resources per federal and state standards.
Assesses resources for eligibility to the National Register of Historic Places.
Develops effects assessments for eligible or listed resources.
Develops solutions for a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Works under limited supervision.
Formulates procedures and practices within the department.
Experienced professional with a specialized area of expertise.
Acts as a key consultant and documents and inventories historic significant sites.
Works with the details of a historic resource project from pre-field stages through reconnaissance survey, intensive survey, Section 4(f) documentation, NRHP eligibility recommendations, and final report to federal, state and/or local agencies.
