Architectural/Building Design Project Manager

AECOMis seeking anArchitectural/Building Design Project Managerbased inHouston, TXto lead and execute interdisciplinary building design projects with a focus on Science &
Technology and Higher Education projects in a collaborative and design-focused environment. The role will be responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and budget of projects across the project lifecycle - from conceptual studies to full design and construction administration. Responsible for planning and managing project staffing requirements, reporting project performance, and identifying and addressing scope creep, schedule, or quality issues to ensure the successful delivery of assigned projects.
Job Summary/Responsibilities
Acting as a primary point of contact with the client
Working with interdisciplinary technical leads in the coordinated successful execution of projects in design and construction
Reviewing contracts, preparing fee proposals and project execution strategies
Managing and leading all technical, financial, and client satisfaction areas using established processes and tools
Managing sub-consultant scope, fees, deliverables, and performance
Leading the team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget
Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to minimize risk
Reporting and escalating to management as needed
Performing risk management to minimize project risks
Maintaining project documentation control
