Archaeology Technician Ii

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Archaeological Technician II for employment in our Portland, OR office.This is a part-time, on-call role, meaning workdays and times will be determined on an as-needed basis.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Conduct all aspects of archaeological field work, including survey, site recordation, site testing and evaluations, monitoring, and data recovery
Assist with mapping responsibilities in the field, including collection of GPS data using Trimble units
Conduct technical research and writing for reporting efforts
Analyze and document prehistoric and historic sites and artifacts
Work independently under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
