Apprentice Painter

As an Apprentice Painter, you play an integral role in creating quality apartments for our residents to call home for years to come. You will work with our team in new construction, building apartments from the ground up. To be successful in this role you must be reliable, detail-oriented, and communicate effectively. Exceptional candidates are those who are driven, love to work hard alongside their team, have excellent leadership skills, and are dedicated to teaching others.
Working hours:
Monday- Thursday 6AM until 4.30PM- Fridays would be for overtime hours (if needed)

A) Journeyman - $38.00/hr.
B) Apprentice 4 - $34.00/hr.
C) Apprentice 3 - $29.00/hr.
D) Apprentice 2 - $26.00/hr.
E) Apprentice 1 - $23.00/hr.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.
Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Accurately prep for painting new walls, doors, and trim
Painting using a brush, roller, airless and pneumatic sprayers
Ability to operate extension ladders and are comfortable with heights
Quality control ensuring the job is done well and accurately
Stay current on safety standards and procedures, communicate to the team, &
ensure compliance
Requirements
1+ years of experience doing residential or commercial painting
Experience with knockdown/popcorn ceiling textures preferred but not required
Proficient in using tools such as sprayers is a plus
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds as needed
Comfortable with ladders &
heights
