UWorld is looking for an AP Statistics Teacher to join our growing organization. This experienced candidate will collaborate with a team of educators to write content for our web-based Advanced Placement® study materials. This full-time opportunity is long-term, and authors will have the potential to engage in the product life cycle from planning and development to completion and maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:
This position will report to the Mathematics Curriculum Manager. The Content Author will create testing materials for the AP Statistics college prep programs and participate in product development.
Play a key role in project development, planning, and execution
Write AP style passages and questions with comprehensive explanations
Create study guide materials, lecture slides, scripts, and more for UWorld AP Statistics course materials
Develop simple and elegant images that visualize the written explanations
Provide revisions and constructive feedback on content written by other authors
Apply knowledge of the AP Statistics course description and college board practices to all content
Collaborate with management and work closely with other content experts to create AP products as a team
Assists other content team members during peak periods of new content production to ensure that all deadlines are met
Requirements
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field required
Master’s degree preferred
Minimum Experience Required:
2 years of AP Statistics teaching or curriculum writing experience required
AP Reader, AP Table Leader, and AP Consultant experience highly preferred
Strong knowledge of SAT and ACT test preparation is a plus

Effective problem-solving skills and acute attention to detail

Proven history of working independently while operating within a team environment
Ability to organize, prioritize, and self-motivate to successfully meet deadlines
Adapt quickly to changes
Brainstorm and collaborate in a team setting
Proficient in MS Office/working knowledge of IT
