As the Analyst, Technology (Financial Analytics) you will be a key member of the team responsible for the continual monitoring of annual spend for all XPO IT. You will assist in designing, developing, and tracking key performance indicators to drive strategic business improvements. You will use your analytical background to drive accountability through variance analysis and make data driven decisions to help improve and manage the entire IT ecosystem.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Create and monitor annual spend for all XPO IT
• Be comfortable interacting with various levels of management
• Ability to analyze complex problems, develop and implement sound solutions
• Perform technical analysis to assess present and future financial performance.
• Assist in designing, developing, and tracking key performance indicators to drive strategic business improvements.
• Research and compile data for annual and monthly budget projections.
• Collaborate with department managers to review financial performance and future forecasts.
• Track revenue and expenses, comparing actuals to forecasts and making necessary adjustments.
• Prepare management reports summarizing research, analyses, and evaluation of discrepancies.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 1 year of related experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  able to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
• Analytical and statistical examination skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and equivalent Google tools.

It'd be great if you also have:

• 3 years of related experience
• Experience working within the Coupa Platform
• Experience with spend analytics, forecasting, and financials
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
