Analyst, Cost Management
Role Summary:

This position is responsible for handling product development, procurement, and analytics related to operational matters (including truck, rail, depot, reefer, genset, and chassis operations). Evaluates data, analyzes, problem solves, makes recommendations in Cost Management for increased efficiency/service/customer satisfaction and business results. Applies knowledge, good judgment, and decision-making, anticipates, clarifies, understands, defines, makes recommendations, and implements with positive results. handles product development, procurement, and analytics related to operational matters (including truck, rail, depot, reefer, genset, and chassis operations).
Additional Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project work and ad hoc studies as identified by product management.
  
• Works externally with vendors on process improvement and efficiencies.
  
• Creates cost analysis tools and administers cost control programs.
  
• Creates management and user tools (for both internal &
  external parties) to oversee product performance and activities.
  
• Assists in administering systematic/periodic vendor performance program.
  
• Monitors and reports on service quality and addresses performance concerns with suppliers.
  
• Collaborates closely with operations staff in the implementation and execution of the product.
  
• Handles certain invoice verification and approval functions (including developing the approach to streamline charge verification and timely processing).

Required Minimum Years Experience:

• 2 industry and/or 1 function related preferred

Required Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
