Our East Syracuse, NY laboratory is looking for an Air QualityMonitoring Technician to join their Monitoring Services team! The Air Quality Monitoring Technician’s primary responsibilities are to receive and route packages to appropriate department, ensure samples, equipment, paperwork, etc. are placed into proper workflow, sign in returned equipment, assemble, maintain and calibrate equipment, to fill client orders. The ideal candidate has a background or strong interest in electronic components and connections, wifi, and cellular connectivity.
Job functions:
Routes incoming packages to appropriate department.
Opens packages and signs in returned equipment.
Performs cosmetic equipment maintenance.
Prepares accessories (tubing, client facing documentation, media bags, etc).
Performs inventory counts, ensuring proper levels at all times.
Perform light equipment maintenance.
Assembles, inspects, tests, and/or calibrates all items needed to fill client orders, per LIMS order summary.
Calibrates equipment and/or checks equipment calibrations.
Performs Quality Control checks of routine client orders.
Works with internal departments to fill client orders.
Ships client orders using vendor software platforms (UPS, FedEX and DHL).
Adheres to SOPs, ensuring proper procedures are followed consistently.
Maintains all required documentation with accuracy and clarity.
Provides exceptional customer service both internal and external clients.
