Requirements
Responsibilities:
Serve as lead agronomist addressing inquiries on crop health, pest control, soil quality, herbicide impacts, crop damage, growth stages, &
weather influences
Set &
oversee annual sales goals aligned with company objectives, while being accountable for achieving profitability targets &
expense management
Assist with the development of the company budget by forecasting sales volumes, projected margins, &
expense items
Ensure profitable sales growth through strategic marketing, competitive analysis, &
effective management ofemployees
Follow Environmental Health &
Safety, OSHA, DOT, &
company policies &
procedures
Stay current on industry knowledge including all agronomy products &
services
Work with Agronomy team to develop goals &
action plans
Recruit, select, &
retain quality personnel
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in agronomy or related, or relevant agronomy sales/management experience
Minimum 3 years' ag sales/management experience
Proven experience leading an Agronomy Sales team &
/or Agronomy location
Must have &
maintain valid driver'slicense, satisfactory driving record, &
ability to travel independently as needed
Excellent verbal &
written communication skills
