Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the shelter.
Handle correspondence, manage files, and maintain organized and up-to-date records.
Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and assist in event planning for shelter activities.
Provide administrative support to the Site Manager, Program Director, and other key personnel.
Act as a liaison between different departments, ensuring effective communication and information flow.
Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring all departments are well-equipped.
Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
Requirements
Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in settings that cater to vulnerable populations.
Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
Bilingual capabilities, especially in Spanish, will be considered an advantage though not mandatory.
