Job Description
Summary:
The McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte seeks candidates for a part-time Adjunct Faculty of Business for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. Primary teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses in “Databases and Applications,” “Business Analytics,” and/or “Management Information Systems.” These are offered in person, during the day or evening. The ability to create an environment of learning that is student-centered through effective pedagogy, and active and experiential learning is desirable. This part-time Adjunct Faculty position begins in August 2024 and is expected to continue through Spring 2025. The position reports to the Dean of the McColl School of Business.
This position is exempt from provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is not eligible to earn overtime pay or compensatory time off for additional hours worked. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:
An earned master’s or higher in business or a related discipline
