Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team, we are a leading manufacturer in the snack industry. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing customer payments across multiple channels. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and is comfortable working with customers to resolve any payment-related issues. In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability of our organization by maintaining accurate records, minimizing delinquent accounts, and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accurate records of customer payments, and resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with customers to assist with any payment-related inquiries or issues, providing excellent customer service.
Perform routine collection activities to minimize delinquent accounts and optimize cash flow.
Process and apply customer payments accurately and efficiently across various payment channels.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and accounting, to manage customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Recommend process improvements to streamline accounts receivable processes and improve overall efficiency.
Provide regular reports and updates regarding accounts receivable performance to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable management.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external customers.
Experience working with ERP or accounting software systems.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
