Accounts Payable Specialist - Temporary Assignment
A reputable Montana Manufacturing company is looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to their team. This position does have the opportunity to become a long term position.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with great attention to detail, accuracy and organization. This position is temporary but could possibly work into a long-term position with the right person.
Pay:
$22 hour
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.M. – 5 p.M.
Responsibilities:
Maintain vendor and customer accounts
Complete day-to-day accounting tasks with monthly and quarterly closings
Complete Accounts Payable processing, including posting bills
Collaborate with supply chain and other departments to understand AP transactions
Assist with reconciling month-end closed accounts payable to the general ledger
Ensure integrity and accuracy of general ledger and financial reporting
Process payments by check, electronic transfers, or credit cards
Provide backup documentation for the analysis and preparation of financial documentation, including balance sheets and statements of financial position
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous accounting experience preferred
Experience with GL coding and bill paying
Strong computer knowledge
Ability to pass a background check
