Accounting Supervisor

Job Overview:
Stardom is seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounting Supervisor to lead our accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role involves supervising day-to-day accounting operations, mentoring staff, and supporting the overall financial management of the company.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support for professional development.
Ensure the accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
Coordinate and support annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
