Accounting Manager

Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial close processes.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure successful completion of audits.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and streamline financial processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
Prior experience in an accounting management role.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience in the energy industry is a plus.
