We are seeking high-performing individuals to join our team as Account Managers. You will be responsible for developing a client base from the ground up, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Our Account Managers enjoy a competitive first-year OTE of 90k, with top performers exceeding this and earning $150k-200k annually in their second year.
Key Responsibilities:
Re-engage closed accounts, drive portfolio growth through strategic outbound sales efforts, and acquire new accounts to expand the client base
Develop and optimize relationships with prospective and existing clients to maximize revenue through discovery, rapport building, and consistent follow-up
Tailor product recommendations to meet client' needs, address objections, and identify suitable products
Conduct Client Account Reviews (CARs) to assess performance, manage budgets, and ensure client satisfaction
Create and deliver engaging sales presentations, highlighting the benefits of our products and services
Meet revenue targets through client retention, cross-selling and upselling
Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your clients
Provide a best-in-class experience to help our clients achieve their business goals with SmartFinancial’s products and services
Requirements
3+ years experience in sales or account management with a focus on hunting new business
Proven experience in relationship management, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams
Experience with heavy outbound calling
Insurance or marketplace experience is a plus
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and effective phone sales skills
Ability to adapt quickly, learn new concepts, and continuously drive improvement for success
Deadline-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
