POSITION SUMMARY:
The Logistics Customer Service Specialist communicates daily with customers to ensure all finished goods shipments are completed to meet third party customer specifications. Communicate with trucking companies to plan accordingly for shipments. Remove inventory from company and customer database in accordance with depletion procedures.

7a-7p 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
Primary Responsibilities:
Communicate with co-workers and direct supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
Ability to communicate with customers and outside vendors daily to achieve customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, work environment placing all items in an orderly manner per 5S values.
Operate within the documented QMS (Quality Management System)
Coordinate finished goods shipment to meet customer demands
Notify/Communicate with customers with any issues with shipment or scheduling
Follow all standard operating and rules of thumb procedures for shipments and depletions of customer inventory.
Perform data entry accurately and on a timely basis
Prepare a Bill of Lading for all shipping customers
Create customer orders for warehouse team
Work with carriers to schedule appointments, communicate load status, and updates

Requirements
High School diploma or a GED.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
Ability to be a self-starter and work under minimal supervision.
Must have aptitude to use and operate a computer including basic e-mail functions and Excel.
Drug-free, able to pass a drug test.
Have a flexible schedule at times to meet customer needs.
Ability to work at a quick pace while keeping attention to detail.
