Sriskprofile,develop and/oralignthefacilityEH&
Sstrategyaccordingtothebusiness/enterprisehealthandsafetyplan,andfacilitatehealthand safetyownershipthroughouttheorganization.Wearelookingforcandidateswhowantstocreatelongtermvalue,who
isnotafraidtochallengethestatusquo,andwhowantstofindfulfillmentinwhattheydo.
ThecandidatewillworkaDay-Basedworkschedule,buthave24/7/365responsibilities,soshould

Assistsfacilityleadershipwiththedevelopmentofshortandlong-termEH&

strategies,andmeasuresthatprioritizeandmitigaterisks.
DevelopssharedEH&
SvisionandprovidesleadershipanddirectiontoachievetheEH&
Svision
throughmanagementcommitmentandemployeeownership.
Coordinatesanactiveinvestigationteamtoparticipateinincidentinvestigations,rootcause
analysis,andcorrectiveactiondevelopmentandimplementation.DrivesRCA.
Ensurescompliancestandardownersareinplaceforeachsubjectmatterarea.
Leadsthedevelopmentofriskassessmentmethods/systemsforanticipating,identifyingand
evaluatinghazards.
DevelopsandmanagesleadingandlaggingmetricstogaugeandguidetheEH&
Sperformanceof
thefacility.
Developsactionplansthataddressthefacility’scultureandrisk.
EnsuressiteemployeesunderstandandexercisetheirdecisionrightsregardingEH&
S.
Ensuresthedevelopment,improvement,andimplementationoftrainingsystemstomeet
facilityneeds,utilizingqualifiedinstructors.
WorkwiththeCorporateEHSTeamasappropriatetoimplementimprovements,assessissues
andimplementcorrectiveactionsasnecessary.
Engagesincapitalandexpenseprojectplanningandexecutiontoensuresafeandefficient
execution.
EnsuresEH&
Srecordsaremanagedinaccordancewithrecordsmanagementandtheapplicable
EH&
Sstandards.
Requirements
Bachelor’sdegreeinoccupationalsafety,health,environmentalscience,orotherrelatedfields.
2+yearsofexperienceinamanagementrole,preferablyinamanufacturingenvironment.
5+yearsofexperienceworkinginanEHSrelatedrole.
Qualifications(Preferred)
CertifiedSafetyProfessionalorProcessSafetyManagementexperience
Experienceinpetrochemicalorchemicalmanufacturingprocesses
WorkingknowledgeofOSHA1926and1910
Previousleadershiproleinsafetymanagement.
ExperienceworkingwithgovernmentandregulatoryagenciestoensureEnvironmental Compliancewithallapplicablelocalandnationallawsandstandards
