Unarmed Security Officer

CDR Health is seeking experienced Security Officers (unarmed) for a post at our site in Doral, FL. We are looking for motivated, flexible individuals who can deliver five-star customer service and maintain a safe environment. This position is responsible for providing security support and other support as needed which may include Traffic Control. Prior law enforcement, military, and/or security experience is a plus. Retirees and Veterans are welcome.
Duties may vary based on assignment but are not limited to:
Excellent surveillance and observation skills
Proven experience as a security officer or guard
Must be able to stand for long periods
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Deals with Uncertainty
Safety Management
Professionalism
Reporting Skills
Other duties which may arise that are commensurate with the title and position

Must have a valid FL issued Security D-License
Law enforcement or military experience is preferred but not required
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to start work right away
Be physically able to work under various conditions:
indoor and outdoor such as:
Working long hourly shifts – May be more or less than 40 hours per week and 4-6 days per week, depending upon assignment
Standing for long periods of time
Ability to lift packages up to 30 lbs.
Ability to understand and comply with all safety requirements
Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy
Must submit to and pass a drug screen, and background check
Ability to provide Form I-9 documents that shows your identity and eligibility to work in the United State
Must have a valid Driver's License
Must have reliable transportation
