Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials according to specifications for framing, trim, cabinetry, etc.
Install and assemble framing components, including walls, floors, and roofs
Apply drywall and plaster and perform finishing work such as sanding, priming, and painting
Install windows, doors, cabinets, and molding
Requirements
Proven experience as a skilled laborer in framing and finish work
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents
Excellent measurement and carpentry skills
Ability to operate and maintain power tools safely and effectively
Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks
